Bill Holman was my sales rep, and although I've not met him face to face, I felt comfortable enough from our phone conversations to choose Ackerman as our security service provider. The first time I called Bill, I had a page full of questions to ask him and he was both knowledgeable and personable enough for me to choose their service over two other companies. After the contract was signed Ronnie came to install my new equipment and teach me how to use the new system. Ronnie did an amazing job. I'm always a little leery of technicians who will be in my home but did not have that concern with Ronnie. He, like Bill, was both knowledgeable and professional. What I liked the most about Ronnie is that after he finished the install, he took the time to answer some of my questions, which resulted in me purchasing an additional motion sensor and two wired screens. (This is nothing against Bill, I'm sure this would have come up if I would have been home when Bill came but my husband had to take my place that day and I'm much more detail oriented than him). The thing that I liked about Ronnie so much is that he was really listening to what my concerns and my needs for a security system were and then he gave me his honest opinion. I didn't feel like he was trying to up sell me equipment I didn't need, I just felt like he was trying to help me tailor this system to meet the needs of my house and my family. When our home suffered a fire, the alarm worked perfect. Since we were not home, the monitoring division called the fire department who responded quickly and saved our home from complete destruction. Had two break-ins after the system was installed. In the first break-in, the thief ripped the system off the wall before it engaged. I wasn't about to go to bed without a functioning system. Ackerman came out that evening and fixed everything without charge. I shortened the response time on the alarm. During the second break-in, Ackerman handled the incident speedily and professionally. The police caught a young man in the neighborhood. Had one battery go bad. Ackerman came out and replaced it without charge. Ackerman representatives are always professional and speedily handle my concerns and issues. Haven't had a break-in in over a year.
