I wrote a letter to your CEO a year ago in reference to my alarm going off and me having to call the police after no one contacted me or answered the phone until possibly th 3rd time. It has forever left a bad feeling with me!

Service, recently, has really gone down hill. App had to be reinstalled, calling in for customer and being told ’I’ll transfer you’ basically means the call is over. Parts of system haven’t worked for a month or so. Long time customer, but maybe not much longer.

I have to say calling for service is frustrating, you call Georgia for them to tell you they need to contact Maryland. When you ask for a Maryland number they cannot give it to you. So I asked the customer service person why would you call my house with a recorded message telling me to call a number where no one can help me. No explanation, Can I speak with your supervisor? Five minutes later operator comes back on the line with a appointment time. Is that would I asked for? Yes originally but this time I was waiting for a supervisor which I never got. If your alarm goes off they are there on the phone and have the police come out. Customer service and service calls they struggle.

I don’t know how long the alarm is supposed to sound before Ackerman calls to make sure everything is ok. I thought it was 45 seconds if the alarm is not disarmed, but does that change if the stay -no delay- is active?

Reduce the amount of visits to the home before the security system can be installed. Consultation can be done over the phone, and one visit should be made to the home to install the system. I was surprised to learn that I was not getting my security system installed the same day, as I had taken time off from work to be at home.

Switched my system from ADT to Ackerman after confirmation that the system is compatible. System has never worked properly since. Cannot use the stay option if I am in my basement.
